Elli was commissioned to design and paint a large scenic mural traversing three flights of stairs in the entry hall staircase of this historic, Grade II listed stately home. 

The mural takes inspiration from the property's 240 acres of ancient oak parkland and incorporates the abundant wildlife residing there.  The ground floor section begins with washy, leafy foliage in muted green hues in a style reminiscent of a 16th century tapestry, paying homage to the tudor-gothic style of the rear façade of the house. They eye is drawn up to the first landing where ancient oaks frame the doorway blending into meadow leading to a hill on the right of the large wall spanning the second flight of stairs. Tall Scots pine trees frame the doorway to the master bedroom and the classical front façade of the house itself is depicted centrally to the top of the large wall which meets the horizon line of the third level section. The ceiling surrounding the skylight features baroque clouds and wraps around to meet the landscape where tall poplar trees, willow and a bucolic pond scene frame the upper landing.
